- You gave up half-way through (more or less)
- You stayed strong, created your plan, and filed it away, never to be looked at (or sweated over) again

BUT WAIT - I thought I had to write a 50-page marketing plan to be successful!
There is a time and place to create 50-page marketing plans. When you're just getting started, its easy to get caught up in doing crazy analysis and grand dreams when you really just need to do the work. That's what the 1-page marketing plan helps with – helping you get focused on taking actions that drive results.
But Brandi, I already did the 30-page marketing plan! Was it a waste of time?
Absoutely not! First – congratulations on putting in the work and creating the master marketing plan. Now go dust it off, and start pulling out key components for the next thirty days (or however long you want to plan for). The 1-page marketing plan can (and should) compliment the work that you've already done.
What do you have to lose (besides those dozens of hours in writing marketing plans you'll never look at again)?
